Captain Claus Deuerling, born in Mannheim (on earth) in 1982, moved to Berlin after finishing astronauts school in 2003. Here he quickly gained a foothold in the field of film and advertising, where he was able to fulfill his spacey creativity.

From the very beginning, art played an important role alongside the profession, be it in film, photography, installations or drawings. In addition to several solo exhibitions he worked for over two years in a group of artists called "Supamarkt".

Over time, he developed a fascination in depicting characters through which the drawings "Unkown Faces" were created.
